are engaged in investment

solicitation activities
.
Based on the information gathered, GENIUS TRADING
are enticing the public
to invest
in their
so
–
called “PROMO PLAN” where
P5,000.00 turns into P8,000.00 in just 3 days or a
total of 160% profit in just 3 days.
Its scheme entices its members to deposit the amount under a Union Bank Account
Name GIOMARK CASTRO MEDALLA thru onl
ine bank transfer and GCASH.
Further, among its promoters are
MAHA CORTEZ,
a.k.a. HANI CORTEZ TOLENTINO
and
ELSIE MENDOZA HERNANDEZ
.

er records,
GENIUS TRADING CORPORATION/GENIUS TRADING/GC8
is not
r
egistered with the Commission as a corporation of partnership.
Further,
GENIUS TRADING CORPORATION
, allegedly registered with the Department of Trade Industry (DTI)
is not
authorized
to use the word “Corporation”, “Incorporation”, “Corp.” and “Inc.” in it
s
business name registration
and
neither
can it be allowed to solicit investments from the public
a
s it
did not secure prior registration and/or license to solicit investments from the Commission
as prescribed under Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code.
The public is hereby warned that such investment schemes are considered as
securities subject t
o the regulatory authority of this Commission. The offering and
selling of securities to the public without a permit or license is a violation of Section 8.1.
of the Securities Regulation Code.
Accordingly, those who invite or recruit other people to jo
in or invest in this venture or
offer investment contracts or securities to the public may be held criminally liable under Section
28 of the SRC penalized with a maximum fine of Five Million Pesos (P 5,000,000.00) or
imprisonment of Twenty One (21) years o
