Based on the information gathered by the Commission, a number of
individuals or group of persons claiming to represent
META TRADING
CORPORATION
/ONE META TRADING OPC
headed by its CEO, Founder, and
President
MARIO BONTILAO ABELLANOSA JR.
are enticing the public to invest
their money in said entity.
The company is offering to the public its investment which would earn a Passive
and Active Income, to wit:
1.
Passive
Income
Invest and earn: 5% daily interest for twenty (20) days or for a total of 100%
earnings for a 20
–
day period; 100% interest for the next five (5) days; 150% interest
for the next ten (10) days; and 200% interest for the next 15 days,

ACCUMULATED
INTEREST OF 550% IN JUST 50 DAYS.

Thus, an investor shall earn the following within a period of only 50 days
according to the package availed of.

Active Income:
a.
Direct Referral Commission where an upline
shall earn: 20% if he/she is a
bronze
–
plan holder, 30% if he/she is a silver
–
plan holder, 40% if he/she is
a ruby
–
plan holder, or 50% if he/she is a diamond
–
plan holder Referral
Commission of the value of the package availed of by his/her direct
downline;
b.
Indirect Referral Commission equivalent to 1% of the package availed of
by the recruit/s of the upline’s direct recruits regardless of its level;
c.
Boost
–
Up Commission shall be earned by an earlier investor whenever
he/she recruits 5 persons with the sa
me initial plan as his’/hers’ which is
equivalent to 100% of the value of the plan;
d.
Share Pool Bonus where the company shall set

aside an amount equivalent
to 10% of the value of the plan availed of by investors every forty
–
five (45)
days and the total
amount thereof shall be distributed among the silver
(about 15% thereof), ruby (about 25% thereof), and diamond (about 50%
thereof) plan holders
The above described schemes involved the sale of securities to the public, the
Securities Regulation Code
(SRC) requires that these securities are duly registered and
that the concerned corporation and/or its agents have appropriate registration
and/or license to sell such securities to the public pursuant to Section 8 of the SRC.

28 of the SRC.

registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) with the Bangko
Sentral ng Pilipinas
and does not have a corresponding Certificate of Authority as a Money Service Business
as required under Circular No. 1108, series of 2021 or the
Guidelines for Virtual Asset
Service Providers
.
Hence, those who act as salesmen, brokers, dealers or agents or claim to act as
such for
META TRADING CORPORATION
in selling or
convincing people to invest in the investment scheme being offered by said entity
including solicitations a
nd recruitment through the internet may be prosecuted and
held criminally liable under Section 28 of the SRC and penalized with a maximum fine
of Five Million pesos (P5,000,000.00) or penalty of Twenty
–
one (21) years of
imprisonment or both pursuant to Sec
tion 73 of the SRC.
Also, those who invite or recruit others to join or invest in such venture or offer
investment contracts or securities to the public may incur criminally liability, or
otherwise be sanctioned or penalized accordingly as held by the Sup
reme Court in the
case of
Securities and Exchange Commission vs. Oudine Santos
(G.R. No. 195542, 19 March
2014).
